Myrna Katharine Britton

November 16th, 2018

Our family lost the brightest light on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the age of 82 years.  She will be terribly missed. Love you lots, Mom (Granny)

Myrna Katharine Britton was born in 1936 to Robert and Stella Tenning on a farmstead outside of Eagle Creek, Saskatchewan. Having a Japanese heritage, she spent a short time in the internment camps during WW2 in British Columbia.

She married Vernon Britton in the 1950’s. She is survived by her four children Wesley (Karen) Marcia, Natalie, and Curtis; five grandchildren Chantel (Jay), Taylor, Jayda, Jackie (Erik) and Dustin; great-grandchildren Breana, Ava, Ashton, and Isla.

She worked many years as the face of Prairie Appliance. She was well known for always having a full candy dish for customers.

She lost Vernon in 2002 and worked until she was 76 years old. In her retirement she enjoyed lounging on her patio reading books and feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard.

As per Myrna’s request no service will be held.

She was very loved and will be immensely missed.
