Alex Joseph Hajdu
May 21st, 1939 ~ January 14th, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex. Predeceased by his parents, Klara and Leslie, older brother, Steve, parents-in-law, Mary and Joseph Herperger. Alex is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Rosemary; daughter Lee-Anne (Tom); son Jayson (Amanda); two beautiful granddaughters, Lucy Anne Hajdu, Posey Alexandra Hajdu; sister-in-law Terry Hajdu; brother Leslie (Dorothy); nieces Rae-Lynn Mignon (Joe Jr.), Tanya Hawka; nephew Rod Hajdu; sisters-in-law Cathy (Wayne) Robinson, Cecilia (Denis) Brisebois, Eileen (Nelson) Faubert, Gloria (Gary) Smith; brothers-in-law Lawrence (Sharon) Herperger, Gabe Herperger; nieces Denise Reavley, Michelle (Tim) Schwartz, Renee (Darren) Irving, Nicole Smith, April (Mop) Doucette, Kim Parisian, Amber (Alex) Parisian; nephews Danny (Tammy) Robinson, Dwayne (Lorrie) Robinson, Kelly Brisebois; Tim (Gwyn) Herperger, Kurtis (Amy) Herperger, Paul (April) Faubert, Cory (Gayle) Herperger, Greg (Jordana) Smith, Aaron Parisian, Ryan (Bree) Parisian; and many great nieces and nephews. As per Al’s wishes, no traditional funeral will be held. To the staff of 3 West and 4 West of Pioneer Village thank you for your amazing care and compassion of Al. We couldn’t have wished for better care for him. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Regina Pioneer Village, Alzheimer’s Society of Saskatchewan or a charity of your choice.

Would liked to have known Al better; we are getting the chance by knowing Jayson and the girls. Each day he is so much a part of their lives. His friends and family are a testament to his fulfilling life. Please keep the stories coming!
