It is with great sadness that the family announce the unexpected passing of Milosav (Mike) Obucina on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the age of 78 years. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 45 years Rozalija (Rosie) as well as many friends and family overseas. The family would like to thank the EMT and General Hospital staff for Mike's care. Born June 3, 1939 Mike was devoted to his career as a tool and die maker to the very end. A special light was dimmed with the passing of this man who was a pure genius in his trade. He was always willing to share his passion and knowledge with others. Those who knew him will always carry a special place for him and remember not only his skill but his kindness, love of animals, and willingness to give whatever he was able to give never asking for anything in return. A Come and Go Tea will be held at 7118 Gillmore Dr., Regina, SK from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018.

Mike was great man and a book of knowledge, anytime we had machining question he was always willing to help or help repair our equipment, he will be missed from all of us @ Capital City Machine.

Rosie. I am very shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Mike. He was a great co-worker and the best toolmaker that I have had the pleasure to work with as well as being a friend that I enjoyed being around and working with. He was a special person in my heart.
