Wayne Ogloff

August 8th, 2018

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend.  Wayne passed away suddenly at the Regina Pasqua Hospital surrounded by close friends and family during his final hours.  Left to celebrate his life is his wife Darlene; daughters Tammy (Rick) Turner, Heather Kaytor (Ryan Leef), and Sheila (Darren) Bonneteau; grandchildren Cain, Seth, Hailey, Emma, Brendan, Aaron, and Brooklyn; brother Bill (Pat) Ogloff; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Wayne was predeceased by his parents John and Anne Ogloff.  Wayne was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan on August 27, 1949.  He was a generous, hard-working man who was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He was particularly proud of his grandchildren and always made family his first priority. Wayne spent forty successful years with the Co-op while enjoying his home in Regina, his property at Regina Beach, and in retirement his winter home in Cathedral City, California.  He was very proud to hold a position with the Cathedral City Citizens on Patrol Unit, completing the intensive training and donning the impressive uniform and badge with pride.  Wayne was known for his prized lawn, love of music from the 1950’s, and his quiet yet strong demeanor.  Wayne and Darlene enjoyed travel, entertaining, golfing, football, colleagues, many friends and family.  Interment will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery (meet at cemetery gate).  Memorial Service will follow in Broadway United Church, 105 Broadway Avenue, Regina, SK at 11:00 a.m. same day.   In lieu of flowers, please support the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, and supporting staff at the Pasqua Hospital.
