After 22 years of operating as Personal Alternative Funeral Services® and Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services®, our Franchise Agreement has recently expired. Accordingly, we are now changing our name here in Trail to Clark’s Funeral Services.
To the many families we’ve served over the years, please know that we’re the same people, at the same address and the same phone number. The only thing that has changed is our name and website address. Our people, phone number and address remain the same.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, and Friend Joseph Papp. He passed away surrounded by his loving family after fighting a short battle with Cancer. He was courageous, and kept the same quiet dignity that he portrayed in life every day. He was never one to complain and was always polite with a beautiful humor that made him loved by so many. Joseph came to Canada from Budapest, Hungary in 1956. Although that must have been terrifying for him in his young life he still spoke about it with humour and made the most of his life every day. He was always grateful for the little things that made him happy in life. He overcame many struggles with the same attitude that made him who he was. He worked hard for many years doing concrete finishing. This was very hard work that he did for his family the best he could. Once he made up his mind to do something, he made it look so easy because he had that strength, determination, and incredible will power. Joseph was predeceased by his Parents Joseph and Rose Papp, and the love of his life Mary Lerat, in December 1995. He still thought of her often right to the very end. He is survived by his Children, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, and many of his long-time Friends. The family would like to thank Jo Lerat who came to support them and this was so appreciated. They would also like to thank his long-time friends who were also there to support the family and be there for Joe, Brooks, Harold, Caroline, Rita and Ken, thank you so much. If anyone was forgotten please accept our Apologies but we are Thankful and Appreciative. To respect Joe’s wishes, there will be no Funeral Service, but a Come and Go Celebration of his Life will be held at 3406 Avonhurst Drive in Regina, SK on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 PM. Flowers gratefully declined, anyone wishing to make a donation in his memory can do so to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
