Debra Ann Coles
May 16th, 2019
It is with great sorrow that the family of Debra Coles announces her sudden passing on Thursday, May 16, 2019, in the Regina Pasqua Hospital. Deb was predeceased by her daughter Carmen in 2000, her father LeRoy Landru in 2010 and her mother Dorothy Landru in 1975. She is survived by her loving husband Bill, her son Jesse Tratch, and her sister Pat (Ray) Carlson, one niece Michelle (Sean) Mahan, one nephew Chris (Leah) Sawatsky, and four great-nieces.
Deb was born April 19, 1956, in Regina and lived in Regina, Yorkton and Saskatoon. She worked for the Royal Bank for a number of years. Deb loved summer, when she could spend hours in her gazebo watching the birds and lingering over evening meals. She also enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family, Internet shopping and finding treasures on Varage. Deb was a big Rider fan and eagerly awaited football season.
Deb left us far too soon. She was the perfect partner for Bill and a loving mother and confidant for Jess. Pat will miss their almost daily phone conversations and texts. Bill will always be happy that he got to share his life with this special woman. Jess will fondly remember his mom as an amazing listener, who cared about what was going on in other people’s lives. Her wonderful sense of humour and hearty laugh will be remembered by all who knew her.
Deb was cremated and, as she requested, there will be no funeral. A Celebration of Deb’s Life will be held at a later date.
