January 12th, 2019
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn at 76 years of age on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 a.m. Marilyn was sleeping peacefully when she stepped into eternity with her new best friend Jesus.
Marilyn was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who was happily married for 53 years to her dear surviving husband Steve.
Left to cherish the memories of this amazing outgoing woman, is her dear husband Steve, her two daughters Denise (Darin) Wielgoz, Brenda-Jayne (David) Splett, and grandchildren Mitchell, Ryan and Thomas, as well as her nephews and nieces David, Bob, Susan and Jim and many extended family and dear friends.
Marilyn was predeceased by her loving parents Jack and Doris Rayner, her father and mother-in-law Milt and Ida Moberg and her one dear brother Brian Rayner.
She lived in Regina most of her life and some of her fondest memories with Steve were trailering in Spokane, Washington.
A Celebration of Marilyn’s Life will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 3510 Queen Street, Regina, SK. All are welcome! In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to the Souls Harbour Mission in Regina.
We would like to extend special thanks to Leslie and all the staff at the Pasqua Hospital Emergency and Wards 3B and 3A for the extra special care and consideration during her final days.

Steve, BJ, & Denise, Marilyn was an amazing and special person. She was blessed to have all of you in her life and you were very special to her. May it help to know she is no longer in pain and is reunited with her parents and brother. May all the wonderful memories of your mom bring a smile to your face. God Bless You!
Dear Steve and family, I extend my deepest sympathy. Marilyn was such a gentle, loving person. I had the privilege of knowing her only the past several years however very quickly came to appreciate and value her friendship. She is at peace now. I know your lives have been forever changed. Hold fast to each other and draw comfort from your wonderful memories. May God be with you at this most difficult time.
Our deepest condolences to the Moberg family on the passing of Marilyn. She was an outgoing, kind and extremely generous person, and a wonderful neighbour. Lindsey and I are grateful for the time we got to spend with Marilyn, often chatting over our shared fence on weekends. You are all in our thoughts.
Steve & Family We are thinking of you and sending our condolences, hugs and prayers. Marilyn was an amazing woman.
