Jacqueline Richards (nee Moine)

Jacquie is survived by her children: Boyd (Tracey) Richards and their children Johslyne, Amber, Brook and Courtney; Darcy (Pam) Richards and their children Dakota and Mason; Russ (Cathy) Richards and their children Lance and Landon; Robin (Del) Urzada and their children Adam, Alex and Anna; Kathy-Anne Richards; sister Gloria Tone; great-grandchildren; as well as numerous niece, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jacquie was born on December 26, 1933 and was the oldest of three children by her parents Victor Moine of Décize, France and Louise Trottier of Swift Crossing, Saskatchewan. Raised in Val Marie, Saskatchewan she later moved to Regina. She married the love of her life Lorne Richards (from Orkney, SK) on July 7, 1954. They went on to have five children, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Jacquie was well read and was passionate about many things. She studied French at the University of Regina, did some modeling, was an incredibly talented gardener, enjoyed oil painting in her past time, and LOVED to sing. She led her family with strength, beauty, courage and grace. Always finding something good in everyone she met, and always one to speak her mind.
At Jacquie’s request, there will be no funeral service. The Celebration of her Life will take place at the family cottage at Pasqua Lake, at a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

There are absolutely no words to express the loss of our loved ones. All the good, the laughs, passion, respect, beliefs and trust and most of all love that Jacquie had given you is the remedy to heal in time. Boyd, Darcy, Russ, Robin, Kathy and families...my sincere condolences on the loss of your mom. She was a beautiful lady; so kind and friendly to all. She will be greatly missed. Take comfort knowing she is now happily reunited with your dad, always lovingly watching over her family from above.
To all the Richards family, sorry for your loss. The little bit of time I spent with your mom setting up a tv or two she was such a classy lady and definitely proud of her boys. Take care in this difficult time and just remember all the great memories.
So sorry to hear about your mom Russ. She was such a nice lady. Always so kind and she really took a genuine interest in whatever I had to say. You have lost the matriarch of your family. She truly loved her family and she was loved right back. You, Cathy, Lance & Landon will have her in your hearts forever. So sad.
