Jacob Phillip Zerie

Jacob P. Zerie passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the Regina Pasqua Hospital at the age of 97 years. Jacob was born, raised and farmed most of his life in the Horizon area. Jacob was a mixed farmer and enjoyed horses. He was a very easy-going man and loved working on the farm and gardening. Jacob loved his family and was never happier than when all the family could be together. He really enjoyed visiting, dancing, going out for lunch and going to the casino with his wife, Anne.
Jacob was predeceased by his parents Wenzel and Annie; step-father Adam Loos; his brothers Henry (Helen) and Bill (Mary); his sister Margaret (Louis); first wife Marion; and grandson Derek. Jacob is survived by his wife of 16 years Anne Marie (nee Marion) Woitas; his children Donna Anderson, Dale Zerie, Debbie (Michel) Berube, and Dwight (Tammy) Zerie; grandchildren Crystal (David), Corey (Gail), Jamie (Dallas), Twyla (David), Craig, Richelle (Steve), Austin, and Megan; along with 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister Caroline (Ken) Hill; niece Arlene and nephews Ralph, Scott, Dean, and James.
Private family interment will be held at a later date.
