Joyce Marlene Morrow, dearly beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children, on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. Joyce is survived by her children Quinn and Shelly Major; brother Mervin (Eileen) Morrow; sisters Joan Neustaeter and Shirley (Charles) Greff; as well as many cherished nephews, nieces and friends.
Joyce was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on July 29, 1942 and was a Saskatchewan girl all her life. She grew up on her father’s farm in the Dummer area. She attended Wagner Elementary School and Perry High School. As an adult, Joyce lived in Moose Jaw before finally settling in Regina. She worked as a hair stylist and later owned and operated a hairstylist business. Joyce also worked as a personal support worker. Joyce deeply loved her children, possessed a deep affection for her pet dogs, enjoyed reading, camping, curling, knitting, music, just hanging with friends and was a loyal Saskatchewan Roughriders fan.
During her last few years of life, Joyce lived at Riverbend Crossing Memory Care in Regina, Saskatchewan. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Riverbend Crossing for delivering extraordinary care to our mother in her time of need and the love with which that care was delivered.
