Frank Dyck
June 28th, 1955 ~ September 10th, 2021
With deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Frank Dyck, at the age of 66, after a short battle with cancer.
He will be remembered and missed by his surviving siblings, Ralf (Marilyn), Rainer (Dyanne) and Carla (Tim) Blaich and his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Kurt, mother, Christel, and brother, Gert.
He was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He started out in the construction industry in Winnipeg and this work eventually took him out west. Eventually he settled in Regina and worked in a number of jobs, ending his working career with the Conexus Arts Centre. He was a very avid Riders fan and frequently could be heard yelling out – Go Riders.
Many thanks to his coworkers and neighbours for their care of him during his times of need. Also many thanks to the healthcare staff at Regina General Hospital and Pasqua Hospital for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Mental Health Association. A private family service will take place.
Messages:
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Frank. He had such a kind and gentle soul and will always think of him fondly. My condolences to his family and friends.
I had the pleasure of working with Frank for the last several years at the Conexus Arts Centre. Frank seemed to be a very private man; however we would get into some great and interesting conversations while working the same show/shift. I am very thankful for this time spent and the memories it has created. Frank often talked of his dog with whom he had such a loving bond - they filled the holes in each other's lives. My condolences to Frank's family. RIP Frank.
I was lucky to know Frank through Kinsmen and K40 of Regina. He was a good-natured man, he will be missed. My condolences to the family.
On behalf of the Regina K40 club, we offer our condolences to the family. Frank was a former Kinsmen member and an avid member of the Regina K40 club and we'll miss his smiling face at our meetings.
I am so sorry for your loss. Grief is the result of love and memories are the gift of love. Frank will be missed. As a coworker and a friend I am praying for strength to get your through each day.
Frank will be missed by many. His sense of humor and fun personality made for some great memories. I worked with Frank only one week of the year, and always looked forward to his smiling face and stories he had to tell! My condolences to all his family and friends.
