It is with sadness that we announce Bonnie’s passing on November 6, 2021. Her strong faith and trust in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has been a special gift to all her family and friends. “Everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:26
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Atholl and Evelyn Skea; and is survived by her siblings Harvey (Carole), Judith (Allen), Ken (Dori), Heather (David) and their families. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Harry, their four children and eight grandchildren; Christa (Steve) Emma and Ethan; David (Kayla) Brady and Sadie; Laura (Bryce); Melinda (Russ) Taleah, Kiara, Brooklyn and Madison.
Harry and Bonnie were married in 1969 following Bonnie’s graduation from nursing school in 1968. She was a compassionate and caring wife, mother, Nana and nurse who loved to cook, sew, garden, play the piano and serve others. She was unexpectantly diagnosed with dementia in 2010. Bonnie has been cared for by the many special caregivers at the Santa Maria Nursing Home, Regina, SK for the past four years.

Messages:
We have many fond memories of Bonnie from our days in Regina more than 3 decades ago. Even now we remember her strong faith and the character that resulted from her walk with Jesus Christ.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Harry and your family. May you be comforted and have peace through your love for Jesus, knowing that Bonnie is with Him and fully healed. Be also comforted and blessed by remembering and sharing in your memories of her which will bring you both laughter and tears. We'll always remember Bonnie's beautiful warm smile.
Dear Harry & family. We send you our love and sympathy. What a lovely service for Bonnie. We were so very thankful we could attend from afar although we wish we could have been with you in person. We rejoice that she is now whole and healthy. We have many wonderful memories of our times together and have been so thankful, Harry, for the many FaceTime visits we could have with you & her through these years we have lived away. May God bring each of you His comfort and peace through this time of loss. We rejoice that we will see her again. Love to you all. Elwood & Lorraine
I knew Bonnie while she and I worked for Terry Martens at Total Care. Bonnie always decorated Terry's house for Christmas and she did a beautiful job. She was a sweet and kind follower of Jesus. Terry went to be with the Lord in 2019 and now Bonnie has followed her. So sorry for your loss, Harry and family. God bless and keep you all Thelma Teichroeb
Harry: my spouse, Val, and I extend our heartfelt condolences to you and your family at Bonnie's passing. By way of a reminder, we were in the RCAirC and CIL organizations in the late 60's, early 70's; you in Regina and me in Saskatoon. I believe Dwayne Rauw brought me over to your house during a visit I made to Regina and it is very possible I met Bonnie at that time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.
We wish we could be with you all today as you celebrate Bonnie's life. Her sweet smile, gentle ways and vibrant personality will be remembered even though these last years have been very difficult as she has struggled with health issues. Harry, you have been an incredible example of a loving husband who was at Bonnie's side with love and compassion through it all. She is now completely whole and rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, and more alive now than she ever was. Praying for your family as you celebrate her life today.
Dear Harry & family, So very saddened to learn of Bonnie's passing and the long struggle you all endured. May your hearts be comforted by the many wonderful memories you shared together. Sincere condolences, Richard & Nancy Barks
Dear Uncle Harry. You have had a long and difficult journey with Bonnie as she struggled with her illness. We know she is no longer in pain and now at peace. Our love, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time.
Harry, we grieve with you in the loss of Bonnie. You have been so faithful to her care over the years, and your faithfulness and support of her is a real testament to the love you shared with her. She is with Jesus. He has made her whole again, and Bonnie is in His Presence. We rejoice in that with you. Paul and Corinne
During my growing up years, I knew Bonnie, since our parents were close friends. We took piano lessons from the same teacher, and also attended a week long Sunday School Church Camp together. I always felt Bonnie was the most angelic person I knew. She was the personification of Gentleness and Kindness. During the past twenty- five years or so, I lost touch with Bonnie; I suppose we were both busy moms with families growing up and leaving home. I am very sad to hear that Bonnie's life was affected by Alzheimer's Disease. At the same time, I am grateful to know that her faith remained strong and that she is most definitely now in the presence of the Lord. I trust Harry that you, your family, and Bonnie's siblings will be comforted by memories of what an extraordinary person Bonnie was during her time on earth.
Harry and Family: Please accept our condolences on Bonnie's passing. She is in a better place now and yet still with you. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Susan, Ron and Andrew MacPhail and C. Keith Inches
