Maureen Ann Jeworski (nee Frank)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maureen Jeworski on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021 at the age of 70.
Maureen was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother and sister.
She courageously fought her two-year battle with cancer. Her resilience and positive attitude kept her fighting until the end. Her love and dedication to family and love of her work brought much pleasure to her life as she loved conversing and working to help her patients as a dedicated Contact Lens Technician at what was Drs. Thatcher, Hanna and Kimery Optometrist Office now known as FYI Vision Downtown. She also enjoyed vacationing in Mexico and of course she loved camping.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband Larry; her sons Blair (Angie), Darcy and grandson Daytona (Amanda) Travis; her stepchildren Cheri (Brent) and Jerrad (Ashley) Jeworski; siblings Diane (Larry) Chapman and Vivian (Blaine) Engel. She will also be remembered by her nephew, niece, great-niece, great-nephews and cousins.
Maureen was predeceased by her parents Emil and Marie Frank; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Rudy and Kathy Jeworski.
A Private Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. You are invited to attend Maureen's service virtually at: www.breadoflifelutheranchurch.ca or on the Bread of Life Lutheran Church Facebook page.
Much appreciation is given to Dr. Zarkovic, Dr. Ferguson, Nurse Patricia and to all the Palliative Care Team.

I just learned of Maureen's passing this morning after visiting my eye doctor, Dr. Thatcher. I am so saddened and shocked to hear of her passing. I was looking forward to seeing her today as I hadn't been to the eye doctor in a few years. Maureen always went above and beyond to provide care and service to me and I will never forget her wonderful voice and lovely smile whenever I saw her. The world has lost a great soul.

First met Maureen through a friend and her niece. She was a wondeful person. She cared for anyone she could help out. Best Contact Lense Tech ever! She will be missed.

Larry - I'm so sorry to hear of Mo's passing. We will all treasure the memories we have of her smiling, laughing and all the good times we shared camping, barbeque's and watching our rider 's play. We have comfort knowing that you are freed from your pain and suffering. May you rest in peace my friend.
Larry, I am deeply saddened by the loss of Maureen. We met at the optometric office where she helped me with my contacts and from there we developed a special friendship. She had a heart of gold and a strong faith. She was always so caring, encouraging and loving in her communication with me. Every text had several heart emojis! She truly cared. Maureen will always hold a special place in my heart. She was one of a kind. A beautiful person both inside and out. Rest in peace my dear friend. My sincere sympathy Larry and family.

I am so very sorry to hear of Maureen’s passing. I was not aware that she was ill. She was far too young for this to happen. My brother-in-law, Archie, was her uncle. I lived downtown for ten years & I would often talk to her Mom & Maureen. Maureen was just like her Mom, a lovely person. Take care to all the family, you have lost a “gem”. Sincerely Bonnie

I am stunned and so very saddened to hear this news. I had the good fortune to be “roomies” with Maureen some 40 years ago during our infamous dance careers. Maureen was as sweet, kind, funny and lovely then as she was the last time I spoke with her. She has always been an angel among us. Fly high my old friend. Dear Larry, Maureen has been on my mind for a long time and and after months of research I finally found out that she passed. I wanted to reconnect after all these years and see how you all are doing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am still in shock - she was way too young to leave. We had become good friends in Mexico after you bought your Timeshare . I have wonderful memories of both of you ! We went to the cave together and you brought Birthday gifts for my daughter Bella. We had Mudslides by the pool and you came to eat at my restaurant in Playa del Carmen. I hope this message reaches you. Big hugs, Uli
