Doris Klein

December 12th, 2021

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce Doris Klein passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 12, 2021 at the age of 88 years. She resided at William Booth Special Care Home for the past 8 years in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Rochus and son Lyle. She will be greatly missed by her children Jocelyn, Joyce (Garnet), Janice (Dave) and Kim (Michael); her grandchildren Stacey (Chris), Sheena (Shane), Brandi, Kira and Ryan; and great-grandchildren Jennifer and Kaitlin.

Doris was incredibly caring with a generous spirit. She taught her children how to love and what it means to be a family. Despite her disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Doris remained positive and kept her sense of humor. Her love for her family, faith and enjoyment of recreational activities remained strong. She had a deep love for pets that almost meant as much to her as her love for her children, which has been passed on to her children and her grandchildren.

“A Mother is the one we count on for the things that matter most of all. A Mother holds her child’s hand for just a short time but holds their heart forever.” We love you Mom!

Our family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and support during this time, especially the staff at William Booth Special Care Home.

The Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Sedley, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to William Booth Special Care Home.

Messages:

To Jocelyn and Family, Thinking of you at this time as you miss your mom and cherish the good times you had with her. Cyndy (McEwen) Findlay

Sending my love to each of my cousins with a big hug to you Jocelyn, Joyce, Janice and Kim. I have so many good memories of Auntie Doris! She was always so much fun to be with and had a really great sense of humor. I loved when she was with mom and how much they laughed together. Dad loved taking us out to visit you guys on the farm and I have lots of good memories from then. Your mom was a good friend to my mom and I always thought that was special for sisters-in-law. This will be a hard and sad Christmas for each of you and I'll be praying you'll experience God's comfort, peace and His presence in your lives, especially during this Christmas season.

I would like to offer My condolences up front, and thank you for sharing Your mothers condition, I’ll explain: On March 2019 Our brother Raymond was struck by a mysterious condition on His return from Mexico, and turned out to be PSP. He currently lives in a care home, and at His early stage has swallowing problems, now with Face time, His ability to answer is already confused. To You the Family may Your Mother Rest In Peace.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of your families.
