Josephine Kram
June 16th, 2021
Josephine (Josie) Kram, late of Regina, Saskatchewan.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Josie. She passed away at the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, Saskatchewan on June 16, 2021.
She was born in Punnichy, Saskatchewan to Samuel and Pauline Moldowan on August 9, 1942, the youngest of 12 children. She married Anthony (Tony) Kram on August 18, 1959. They farmed south of Raymore, Saskatchewan for almost 25 years. From there they purchased a convenience store in Ituna, Saskatchewan and ran it until Tony’s passing in 1985.
They had four children James (predeceased 1989), Rochelle, Cindy (Joe) and Matthew (predeceased 1998). Josie has two granddaughters Aleesha (Rhett) and Breanna.
Josie was a hard worker and spent a lot of years in the restaurant industry. She was well-known to be an excellent cook in every restaurant she worked in. After her retirement she enjoyed listening to live music and travelling to see friends and family. She touched many hearts with her kindness and will be greatly missed by her girls and their families and friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate and excellent care.
As requested, there will be no Funeral Service. Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery (blue church north of Punnichy, Saskatchewan) at a later date.
