Alex Laczy
December 3rd, 2021
With sadness, the family of Alex Laczy announce his passing on December 3, 2021 at the age of 42 years. After a hard fight with cancer, he passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He will be missed and remembered by his spouse Jaime Matt, mother Liz Barta, father Steve Laczy, and numerous family and friends in Canada and Hungary.
Alex was thankful for the support and love that was provided to him during the last few years of his life. His positivity, humor and love for life will be missed by all who knew him. Alex loved his family dearly and would always look forward to going to Las Vegas with them. He loved to rent a Mustang convertible when he'd go. He loved the feeling of the warm desert air driving on the strip. He had a knack for knowing car and plane stats and loved beautiful cars, especially a Ferrari.
A Celebration of Alex's Life will take place at the Ukrainian National Federation Hall, 1737 St. John Street, Regina, Saskatchewan on December 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please feel free to come and go between...Share a story, have a coffee.

Gary and I are so sorry for your loss. Alex was always so lovely to be around, so social and funny. He will be greatly missed.
Jaime, our deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. I know that Alex loved all things related to technology and Formula One. I always enjoyed our talks about those things. I also know how important his Hungarian heritage was to his life and I would also enjoy sharing our joint European heritage. Alex will be missed.
Thinking of you Jaime. He was such a good man and will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Alex. Always in our hearts.
