Messages:

I just came across this today. We lived in Lebret in the 1950’s and were very good friends of your family. Remember Bee and Elaine. Would go up to your farm and stayed at your house. If Bee and Elaine receive this, pls send a note. Would love to hear from you. Ken

Kathy(Cal), Bee(Dave), Gus( Candace) Paulette and families, So sad to hear of your Mom Theresa's passing. I have very fond childhood memories of her from visits to your farm. She was a very warm and gracious person. And a very good cook! She lived a very good and long life and now she's in a better place. May she rest in peace. Condolences from my brother and me. Marilyn and Frank Lee

Our sincere condolences to the family.

Our sincere sympathy to all the Legace family. Theresa was a great friend and neighbour of our mother, Vera Pollock, in Lebret. She was a lovely lady. Thinking of you all at this time.

It was lovely to be next door neighbours when Mum (Audrey Stephens) lived on Unit 3-5. Theresa was a comforting neighbour to have - someone from home, from our part of the Qu'Appelle Valley. She was lively and a good story-teller, kind and patient, compassionate and interested in others, even though she had significant health challenges of her own. My deepest sympathies to Bee, Gus, Kathy, Elaine and families.

Paulette I am so very sorry to hear of you Mom's passing she was a very nice woman who dearly loved her family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Elaine, Paulette, Gus, and families, It was sad to read the obituaries and see your mother's name. One memory stands out from Grade 8 when I was staying with the Maloneys. That year the Grade 8's were to be cheerleaders, something new, and your Mom and the other ladies organized us,including making us outfits. Cheerleaders need cheers, and your Mom adapted well-known songs by changing the lyrics, and one of them I can still remember, at least the chorus. It's sung to the WWI song 'From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli." The new lyrics started out: "From the halls of Fort Qu'Appe-elle to the shores of Mission Lake..." then it went on to finish with the chorus: "If the other team should ever get to-o see the face of God, They will finds the angels chee-eering for Lebret's precision squad!" ....Yea..eah Lebret!! May it help to know others are thinking of you, and have good memories of the lovely lady she was. Sincerely, Pat

Sincere sympathy to all the family. I recall many good & fun memories in Lebret when Vic & Theresa visited our home and had the patience to listen to the noise of the piano while Elaine & Paulette (Bee) took lessons. Your Mom lived a wonderful long life - may you treasure all the fond memories. Sorry for your loss.

Our sympathy to Gus, Candace and family. Our thoughts are with you during this sad time.
