Kenneth Daniel McKenna

April 1st, 2021

Ken lifted his wings and departed this world after a seven-year battle with cancer on April 1, 2021 at the age of 85.

Ken was born and grew up in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan where he met and married his loving wife of 53 years Betty. Ken worked many jobs but the ones he most talked about were his days at Motorways, AMA Drilling, the Moose Jaw Fire Department and Great West Tire but he always said his best and favorite job was being "Mom's chauffeur".

Ken was followed into the other world by his faithful dog Rosie on April 6, 2021. Ken's wishes were simple, a cremation with no funeral service and to be taken out into the hills so he could travel on the wind.

Ken asked that people have a cup of coffee and pie in his memory (apple with a slice of cheddar cheese was his favorite) and if possible, to donate to a local animal shelter or rescue.

Ken is survived by his wife of 53 years Betty; daughters Margaret and Mary; son Michael; granddaughter Jade; grandson Aiden and his much-loved nieces and nephews in Hamilton, Ontario, Edmonton and Medicine Hat, Alberta.
