Lynda Rose Stone, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on October 3, 2021 at the age of 69 years after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lynda was predeceased by her parents Frieda and Thomas Favel, grandmother Susan, her sister Shirley and her brother George. Lynda is survived by her 5 children Ella (Rick), Francis (Kelly), Laurel (Randy), Marie (Chad) and Janeen (Brad); fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her sister Rena; her brothers Ernie (Linda), Gary (Penny), Brian and Michael; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Lynda was born in Punnichy, Saskatchewan. She married Carmen Stone in 1980 and they lived together in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan before relocating to Regina. Lynda was a hard worker and retired from Sears Warehouse in Regina. Lynda enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. In the spring and summer months she enjoyed her flowers and yardwork. She was never one to turn down sitting by a campfire or sitting on the deck stargazing.
A Private Family Celebration of Lynda’s Life will be held at a later date.
