Dan Aren (Uhren)
May 19th, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Dan on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
Dan was predeceased by his father Don and brothers Rick and Kevin.
Left to mourn is his best friend, soul mate and love of his life - his "little blondie" Sheila Garner and her children Curt (Candice), Nikita (Patrick) and Kelsey (Eric); his daughter Jenifer (Darwin) and grandsons Ryan and Dylan; his mom Joan; his brothers Randy (Jo-Ann) and Craig (Linda); sister Jodi (John); sisters-in-law Dianne (Phil), Laura and Laura; brother-in-law David (Gisele); aunts Janice (George) and Mildred; numerous nieces, nephews and their children; as well as his special extended family at 3D Delivery and the many friends from local businesses and job sites that he delivered to - especially his PCL friends.
Dan loved family so much and treasured the many special memories with each of them, such as his long talks and movie nights with his mom, camping, road trips and the old golf tournaments with the guys. He was a devoted dog-dad to Trax and Kloe, who are still waiting for him to walk through the door and spoil them one last time.
Dan was an avid sports fan and extremely passionate about the Yankees - ready to recite stats back to 1901, or for any other player, team or sport. His retention of all these stats was amazing. Watching college basketball (Duke) and March Madness were among his favorite times each year. Filling out brackets and pro-lines with him will be greatly missed.
His deep booming voice and bellowing laughter will be forever missed but will always be heard in our hearts. He has left us shocked and broken-hearted, and gone much too soon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or any animal rescue of your choice are greatly appreciated.
Heartfelt thank you to the 911 dispatch, Fire, EMS, Regina General Emergency staff, Dr. Vorster, Compassionate Transfer Services, Alternatives Funeral & Cremation Services and to family and friends for the outpouring of love and support.
“GO YANKEES!”
