Eulalia Marie Mannett

July 7th, 1953 ~ July 18th, 2022

It is with heavy hearts and much love that we mourn Eulalia’s passing on July 18, 2022. After her brave battle with cancer, she is finally at rest.

Eulalia was born in Cupar, Saskatchewan and spent her childhood as the eldest of six siblings living in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan. She then spent the majority of her life living in Regina, Saskatchewan with a few of her young adult years in Calgary, Alberta and Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Eulalia spent her working life dedicated to helping others. She held several titles including sales at Eaton’s department store in Regina, service as an RCMP officer in Halifax, Bachelor of Human Justice at the University of Regina and working for the Ombudsman Saskatchewan office in Regina.

She was predeceased by her parents Eva and Stanley Melenchuck and her brothers Blayne and Clinton Melenchuk.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Melissa Mannett (Les Schick); her brothers Dalton Melenchuk and Kim Melenchuk (Susan); her sister Martina Melenchuk Christie (John); seven nieces and nephews; her uncle Arnold Tusa (Larissa); and her beloved cat Figaro.

Eulalia will be remembered as a selflessly dedicated mother, sister, aunt and niece. As a devout Catholic, Eulalia was very dedicated to the church and a Catholic lifestyle. She was a humble and caring soul whose priority was always the needs of others.

Forever in our hearts we leave her now in God’s care.

A private memorial service will be held for close friends and family.

The family wishes to send a special thanks to the staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital Unit 3A for their care and compassion.
