Messages:

My condolences to the family. My mom and dad would take us to the Petterson’s every couple of months to visit. It was always a blast. We snowmobiled, rode horses, drove their trucks. I have lots of stories and it was surprising we survived at times. We lost contact for several years so it was a surprise when he let me know he was in Morse. I was lucky to visit him again for the last few years.

MY CONDOLENCES TO CHELSEA, KARLA AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND TO LELAND'S DEAR FRIEND SCOTT. LELAND WAS AS GENEROUS, THOUGHT-full and made the best FLAPPER PIE. ALWAYS SMILING. R.I.P.

As a child he was always known as Leelee to all his cousins. So sorry to hear of his passing. He will be missed but never forgotten.

Our deepest condolences to all of the Petterson family but especially to Chelsea & Karla. We cherish our memories at the lake with you guys. Love from the McNaughtons

Thinking of you all as you celebrate Leland’s life with our sincerest sympathies - Bruce and Shirley Petterson and families

I am so sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers for your family Sincerely Lorna Leverick

Dear Chelsea and Karla. Our deepest condolences to both of you and your families. Leland was a great neighbour and friend and was always smiling and sharing his wisdom with us. He really knew a lot about everything!! No doubt he was a really cool grandpa. Sincere hugs to you all. Marlon and Cheryl
