Donna Lee Prosofski, born November 4, 1956, passed away on June 23, 2022.

Donna was the oldest daughter of Roselyn and the late Peter Prosofski. Mourning her passing are her mother Roselyn, her son Michael Prosofski (Natasha Olesen) and their children Gabby and Liam. Also feeling the sadness of her loss is her sister Karen Schmidt (Marvin) and their children Chris (Jessica) and Emily; her sister Brenda Perras (Ron) and their children Dale Perras (Jenn), Payton and Taylor, Jessica Larsen (Brett), Logan and Hailey, and Nathan Perras (Alison) and Isabella; and her sister Beverley Manwaring (Kevin) and their children Hannah, Josh and Addison.

Donna graduated from Miller High School in Regina, Saskatchewan and went on to work various jobs in the telecommunications sector. She was very proud in achieving her diploma in Recording Arts and Sciences from the Trebas Institute in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Donna thoroughly enjoyed music, was an avid reader, enjoyed writing and photography and was often taking pictures to share with others. She loved cats and relaying stories of their crazy antics to her family and friends and fellow cat-lovers. Donna was a kind and generous person and had a large circle of friends.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to her friend Darlene who has generously offered to take care of Donna’s three cats, especially Molly, Donna's furry loyal companion of 19 years.

No memorial service will be held at this time. A private Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at a later date. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to your local humane society or cat-rescue organization.

“Life is not a race but indeed a journey. Be thankful. Love your life and what you’ve been given, it is not accidental. Search for your purpose and do it as best you can. Dreaming does matter, it allows you to become that what you aspire to be. Laugh often, appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Forgive, it frees the soul. Recognize the special people you’ve been blessed to know. Live for today and enjoy each moment.”

Messages:

Brenda, Ron and family... I am so very sorry to hear of your sister's passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your entire family at this very sad time.

My sincere condolences to Donna's family. I grew up just across the street from the Prosofski home, and recently had the opportunity to reconnect with Donna through social media. She and I were able to share our good memories of growing up, in our neighbourhood, and often chatted in the early morning hours. Donna was a kind, caring person,.and I am so sorry that she passed too young. I am just very grateful we had the opportunity to be friends this past couple of years. Wishing peace for her family, and especially for Mrs. Prosofski.

To the Prosofski family, my deepest condolences on Donna's passing.
