Messages:
I knew Latrell for a lot of years and worked with him in various capacities. He was an amazing young man who was brilliant in his own right. He was curious, kind, warm, intelligent, creative, and had a great sense of humour. I’m grateful that I was able to spend so much time with him and help expand his mind as he grew up. I’ll never forget his laugh and that big smile. Condolences to all those mourning today like me. Let us never forget how precious each moment with our youth really is.
I was fortunate to have taught Latrell GED in his pursuit of higher education. Latrell was an amazing student who had a thirst for knowledge and a thoughtful way of approaching new information; I still tell students stories of Latrell's love of the semicolon! I will always remember his warm smile and his mischievous sense of humor. He was adored by staff and students alike, and I feel truly blessed to have been part of his life's journey. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.
