Kristy Rae Romans

It is with great sadness that the family of Kristy Rae Romans announces her passing on March 2, 2022 at the age of 48 in Regina, Saskatchewan. After a lengthy year and a half long struggle with cancer she left us when she knew it was her time. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by family and friends.
Kristy is survived by her husband Stephen Romans and his children; her daughter Fay Munro; her sons Payton Hendsbee and Trystin Hendsbee and her granddaughter Arianna Munro. She also leaves to mourn her mother Debby Munro; her father David Fonau; her sisters Dallas Munro (Tim), Lindsey Munro and Kelly Fonau; her brother Kristopher Fonau; niece and nephew Madison Bausmer and Mason Bausmer. Kristy was predeceased by her stepfather Lorne Munro.
A special mention to Cheryl Goodhue (Tim), Kristy’s lifelong friend who was by her side to the end, and her children Shaina and Skyler.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. (doors open at 2:30 p.m.) in the Italian Club, 2148 Connaught Street, Regina, Saskatchewan. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in memory of Kristy may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

I will miss my friend and our many conversations about everything and anything.
Stephen and family, We are so sorry for the loss of Kristy. She had a brilliant mind, a gentle smile and was always great to work with. Kristy often spoke with an evident adoration of her family, she was so proud of you all.

Our deepest condolences goes out to Stephen, their children, family, friends and everyone else who knew Kristy. She was an amazing women and will be forever missed but Never Forgotten.
I am so sorry to hear of Kristy’s passing. I have such fond memories of Kristy all the way back to elementary school. Through some of the hardest times in my life, she was there. From waiting for the bus together as kids to going for coffees together as adults, Kristy was always there for anyone. Although it had been years since we had gotten together for coffee, she was always in my thoughts. She will be greatly missed.
With a heavy heart I send my condolences, to Kristy's family my heart and prayers goes out to you and yours at this time. I went to elementary school with Kristy at St. Patricks, as little girls we used to play together and have sleepovers she was always funny an beautiful childhood girlfriend growing into teenager's her infectious laugh and a beautiful smile, which made her eyes sparkle. Kristy had the greatest hair it definitely was her trade mark in grade eight it reminder us of a popular 80 show Degrassi high "Spike" she was loved by all may she rest in peace. God bless.
