Debra Francine Schulz

September 26th, 2022

It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Debra Francine Schulz, late of Regina, Saskatchewan on Monday, September 26, 2022 at the age of 68.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of over 50 years, Daniel; her children Dannette (Thomas), Dana, Deena, Delee (Ronald) and Dallas (Samantha); 19 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings Jeannette (Roger) Koch, Lyla Grad, Marian (Archie) Stettner, Reinhold Butch (Donna) Sauer and Ryan (Kelly) Sauer; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and great friends. Debra was predeceased by her parents Reinhold Jacob and Ruth Sauer; her brother Randy Sauer; grandson Noah; brother-in-law Ken Grad and numerous loving aunts and uncles.

Debra had many loves in her life but none larger than her husband Daniel. Together they raised 5 children who in return blessed her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved and cared for every single one of them and made sure they were clean and fed. Her second love was gardening and flowers. Deb would tirelessly labour in her garden and many flower beds on the family farm.

She was witty, crafty, creative, persistent and busy. Her ability to breathe life into any object was inspiring. No job was too big or too small. From painting one of her 59 bird houses to painting an entire barn, Deb helped turn a “Green Acre’s Farm” north of Regina, into what it is now.

Deb will always be remembered as a tender, warm person who always glowed and radiated love. She was a woman with class and a queen to us all. She will forever be remembered by the countless ones that love her.

A Celebration of Debra’s Life will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Grace Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan. In memory of Debra, please share kindness, love and compassion to one another.

Messages:

Dear Dan and family, So sorry to hear about Deb's passing Dan. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. Pernell and Deb

Debbie's family: I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Debbie. I grew-up with her in Coronation Park and we attended elementary school together. She was such a lovely person and after high school I lost touch with her until one day in 1982 when I was out campaigning I again met her on her family's doorstep. I remember how pleased and welcoming she was to see me after so many years. One of my fondest memories of Debbie was when she fell in love with one of our kittens - she took it home and loved it to pieces. I have a wonderful picture of Debbie taken in June of grade 7 in the backyard of Roberta Nichol's home. A good number of my old Coronation Park school chums were in that picture - Debbie and Darrel Walters who recently also passed away were in that picture. Were we ever that young? Debbie was such a sweet person and her family and husband were lucky to have a wonderful person like her in their lives. I join your family and friends in thinking about Debbie and send my condolences and sympathy at this time. Wayne MacDonald Edmonton, AB

To Danny and family, we are so sorry to hear of your loss.

So sorry Danny and your family, for your loss. Debby was my little cousin, and I remember her with fondness spending time with me on the Eberle farm at Lake Valley. May you all find peace in the days ahead

Our sympathy to you Dan and the family. So many great memories of the years living next door on Magee.

Dear Families, I was so sorry and shocked to read of Debbie's passing. She was a classmate of mine, throughout the years in school and lived in the same neighbourhood of Coronation Park. Sending many thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to all who loved her.

From our US family to yours, our deepest sympathy for the loss of your cherished loved one. Although we have never met we still feel your deep loss. May she rest in PEACE. ✝️

Dear Dan and children: I was so sorry to hear of Debs passing. I will always remember the wonderful visits we had (in the store ailes) when we would bump into one another. Love and prayers for you all. Val.

Dan and family, I was shocked and saddened to read of Debbie's death. We were childhood friends and lived just down the street from the Sauers. Later when Deena was in Argyle Park playschool I was her teacher and would often would catch up on news of the family. I am so sorry for ALL of you. What a legacy she built with her family. I know one thing, family was the most important thing to her. Take care of each other as you grieve...it's hard work and can be overwhelming at the most unexpected times. May Debbie Rest in Peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.

Wishing you all peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your heart.

Condolences to the whole family. My heart aches for you Dan. Remember the good times
