She was able to show all of us how important we all were to her. We may no longer see her but we’ll always have these special moments we shared with her- baking bread and buns, special cheesecakes for birthdays, the best taco dip and chocolate chip cookies. Can’t forget to mention the tightest French braids you’ve ever had. Violet had a beautiful life full of the love of her family and friends. She will be forever missed in our hearts.

I grew up with my favourite aunt who gave so much love and laughter and I am so sad for her family. She was one of a kind!
So sorry for the loss of this wonderful lady. I can hear her laugh, accompanied by her beautiful smile. I have been blessed to have been a part of this family for over 35 years. May she rest in peace, and take her place as heavens angel.
Sending all my love and condolences to the entire Gallant family! Meagan always sent me pictures of the amazing lunches Violet would make her on her lunch breaks when she went to visit. I can tell she was a very caring lady and loved by many! May she rest in peace.
To all of the Gallants….Vi will be missed. She adored her family and you all showed your adoration and love for her. No matter how long we have our mothers on this earth, it’s never long enough. She fought the good fight, especially over the last 3.5 months in hospital. May she Rest In Peace and light perpetual shine upon her. Take care of each other. Love from Doug and Janet
I was deeply saddened when Cheryl told me of her passing. My sincere condolences to her much-treasured family. She was an amazing Auntie who always so kind to me even when I was "rotten" as she would say with a smile and her infectious laugh was soon the follow. I still make her bread to this day, so not a day goes by that I remember her.
