Joseph Hofer

July 18, 1930 - February 15, 2023

We announce the peaceful passing of Joseph Hofer on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was predeceased by his parents Zacharias and Maria and daughter Suzanna Zerr. Joe is survived by his 8 children, 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Joe was born on a Hutterite colony near Eli Manitoba and moved to Regina in the 1960’s where he began working as a mechanic. Joe lived in Cupar for the last 15 years prior to moving into Parkside Extendicare. His favorite pastimes were tinkering with vehicles, hunting, and just having a good time with his friends. He was better known as “Old Joe” by his friends.

Joseph’s family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and staff at Parkside Extendicare for taking care of him over the last two years until his passing. 

A celebration of life will be held on April 21, 2023, at the Cupar Community Hall in Cupar, SK, at 2pm.
