Audrey Doreen Osojnik
May 28th, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Doreen Osojnik at the age of 85. Born September 18th, 1937 in Weyburn Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her mother Marjorie and her father Harry. Her beloved husband Karl (Charlie). She loved all her children and grandchildren very much. She is survived by her four daughters Tami Osojnik, Kari Bloch, Pati (Duane) Kish, Jamie (Carlos) Freitas. As well as 7 beloved grandchildren Justin and Alyssa Freitas, Tayler and Emily Bloch, Jennifer, Heather and Brandon Kish. Brother Don (Kathy) McSherry, they’re 7 children and families. Also, numerous family members in Slovenia.
Audrey was a social butterfly. She loved playing cards and being with her friends from Ventures Northgate Walkers. She was a long-time member of the Austrian Club and German Club. Audrey was very involved with Mosaic as she loved the culture, music, and dance. She enjoyed attending events where Rory Allen performed.
She was a volunteer and usher for the Saskatchewan Roughriders since 1951. Those that knew her, knew she was a true Rider fan through and through. If Audrey wasn’t attending the game or volunteering at the game, she was definitely watching the game on TV.
A Funeral Service in Audrey's honour will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Lakeview United Church at 3200 McCallum Ave, in Regina.

To Tami and all of your family members! My deepest condolences to all of you at this sad time! Most of you won’t know me…..but I have known your parents since I “baby-sat” Tami for a time while Audrey worked…….little Tami was just a year old at that time! Also my husband Irven worked with Karl at City Dairy! I was shocked and sad to see Audrey’s obit in the Leader post………I had just chatted with her briefly at her nursing home less than two weeks ago when I happened to see her while was visiting my nephew in that facility. I am so glad I did have that little visit ……..may Audrey Rest In Peace!! Sincerely Betty Wagner PS: I am planning to attend the funeral tomorrow!
We will dearly miss you Grandma Audrey. You had such a major part and role model in my life. It is so sad to see you go, but have some peace to know you are with my grandfather Karl. I have the honour to talk about your life in a eulogy at your funeral. I hope you will be proud of me to do this for you. I will forever miss you, and hope to see you again. Love always, Emily and Spencer (Benson).
So very sorry for your loss
