Maxime Pominville

The family of Joseph John Maxime Pominville (Max) sadly announce his passing on February 19, 2023 at Wascana Grace Hospice, Regina, SK.
Max was born on September 2, 1928, in Whitewood, SK. He was the only child of Jean and Margaret Pominville and grew up in Whitewood, SK., Oka, QC., and Lebret, SK. He moved to Regina in 1950 to begin his employment with Macdonalds Consolidated Ltd. continuing there until his retirement at age 65.
In February 1955, Max married Mabel Colhoun and they had two sons, Roy and Jim. They were happily married until Mabel’s passing on Sept. 30, 2022.
Max was proud of his long affiliation with Regina Cub Scouts. He always looked forward to the annual camping trips and campfires. He loved being a grandfather and particularly enjoyed watching his grandchildren play hockey, baseball and lacrosse. Max was a long-time fan of the Regina Pats and always looked forward to attending games with his grandchildren.
Max will be forever loved and remembered by his sons Roy (Susan) and Jim (Leslie); grandchildren Lee, Kale (Dori), Orr (Jillian), Ben (Sydney) and Scot (Kelsey); great-grandchildren Sebastian, Henri and Beau. Max was predeceased by his wife Mabel and daughter-in-law Joanne.
There will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to Regina Wascana Grace Hospice or The Regina Humane Society.
