Douglas James Scott
September 10th, 2023
Douglas is survived by his wife Shelley Winkler and her sons and family, Reuben Winkler, Liz Lestrange, children; Anastasia Winkler and Joshua and Abby Coates. Joseph Winkler and Chantelle Head and grandsons – sons of deceased Daniel Winkler – Albert Winkler and Zach Winkler.
Special Thanks to Pasqua Hospital (ICU) and all the staff that took care of Doug, their consideration and moment to moment updates were appreciated. Special thanks to Shawn Morrison, Doug’s best friend, for helping me by being by my side.
Doug was a very good husband to me and friend to everyone. He liked going for coffee, watching football and movies. He enjoyed hanging out with friends and going to Seaspray laundromat to do our laundry on Saturday every week. Doug really enjoyed working at First Student for 33 years and liked driving the school bus. Doug loved his job and working with his coworkers.
“May God bless everyone; my prayers are for all. God is watching over all of us.”
