June Findlay, 91, of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 after a long and fulfilling life.
June was born on June 4th, 1933, in Magrath, Alberta to Clara and Samuel Cheeseworth. June married William Findlay in 1962, and they relocated from Abbotsford to Regina in 1968, where they farmed until 1992.
June is predeceased by her parents, Clara and Samuel, her sisters, Betty, Alice and Doris, her brother, Ken, her husband, Bill, and her great granddaughter, Korreena. She has left to mourn, her children, Jim (Betty) Findlay, Brenda (Barry) Klotz and Gail Findlay, her grand children Dylan, Nicole (Kris), Travis (Christina), Nichelle (Kevin), Chasity (Dallas), Reshaun (Tyson) and Laryssa (Branden), as well as her great grandchildren, Kinley, Molly, Ruby, Basil, Axton, Kolson, Trasque, Lennox, Sadie, Kensie, Bohdan, Liam and Milo.
In April of 2023, June began her stay at Santa Maria, where she enjoyed the last months of her life, and her family is eternally thankful for the excellent care she received.
June's sense of humor and her grateful nature were her trademarks, which have left lasting impressions on those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
June was well loved and will be forever missed by her family.
