With very heavy hearts we announce that our mother Karen Gessner passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 29, 2024 with family at her side.

I worked with Karen for many years at SaskTel International. She was a wealth of knowledge and great to work with, always concerned with everyone’s well being (which is how she became ‘Mom MARTENS’). She was a great lady, condolences to her family.
My condolences to all of Karen’s family. We met during our many years at Sasktel. She was a fun person to be around she will be missed.
I have great memories of working with Karen at Sasktel . We spent many years on the Marten system development . I remember her highly knowledgeable, energetic and always ready to enjoy the team events with a few drinks !! She was a pleasure to work with. I remember her fondly .
