It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband/Father/Grandpa/Great Grandpa/ Brother/Uncle.
Melvin was born in Duncan BC, on December 12th, 1944. He grew up in Surrey BC, where he met his wife Angela, they married in New Westminster BC in 1964.
Mel started his family in Surrey BC, and worked as a carpenter. In 1976 he moved his family to Regina SK, and worked as a carpenter with his brother Sam. Mel eventually moved back to BC in 1989, and retired from carpentry in 2009.
In 2023, Mel and Angela moved back to Regina to once again enjoy the prairies. Mel loved all sports as a fan, in his younger years he loved to fish, camp, boat and go on road trips.
He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Melvin is survived by his wife Angela, daughter Leanne (Brad), grandchildren, Brittany & Nickolas.
Daughter Sandra (Jay), granddaughters Pamela (Will), Katelyn (Kit) & great grandchildren Ellie, Quinn and Aurora.
Brothers Dennis, Russel (Cathy) & Sam (Colleen) and his sister Darlene (Bob).

So sorry to hear of Mel's passing. I was watching the Saskatchewan Rough Riders playing BC Lions last night and thought of Mel. I thought I would look his phone number and this page came up. I enjoyed working with Mel for about 11 years.
