Who know what lies before us
We know not what waits
When will time take us?
Will it be soon or too late?
When we think of you..
We see a dazzling woman
Whose sparkle, charm and wit
Radiated a loving omen
that glowed, and stayed brightly lit.
You were a conqueror -
Who broke through ceilings and barriers,
And were an interesting believer
Who made lives fuller and merrier.
We had many wonderful years
Filled with your vivacity and inner blaze
That we will forever hold dear
As we journey through life's maze.
We have benifited from your legacy
Of a life filled with kindness and hope.
You stood above doubt and jealousy
No matter how slippery the slope.
You were many people in your life-
A stepmom, Grandma, and Great Grandmother;
and a businesswoman, friend and wife,
Who loved, and who was loved, as no other.
Although you departed too soon
you live in our hearts.
Your spirit flows amoung the stars and moon
So we are never very far apart.
Whether it is soon or late
Time decides when we'll pass.
We try to accept this fate
But we wish you were here... alas.
