Messages:
To Linda, Scott, Angela and the entire family. On behalf of our mom Celina, and us, please accept our deepest and sincerest condolences. We will be forever grateful and forever touched by Bob's generous spirit and his many acts of kindness. He was a most wonderful friend and neighbour to John and Celina. His kind gestures were truly appreciated, more than words can express. Bob's sudden passing is a loss felt by our entire family. We can only hope our words of thanks and gratitude bring your family some small measure of comfort knowing that his legacy will live on in the memory of the many lives he touched. He was a wonderful man and again we wish to offer our most heartfelt condolences. Roy & Jody, Adilia, Tony Monteiro
to bob's family, we are so very sorry for your loss, bob was a good neighbour and always had time to stop and exchange a few words when taking the boys for their walks. he will be missed by many and thought of often.
Pat and I were very saddened to see Bob's notice in the Sun. It's been many years since we were in touch, but we have thought and talked about you and Bob often. Every time we go through the family photos, we find the one of our Mike when he was about 5 or 6, holding a very newborn Scott. We had so many laughs with you and Bob, and enjoyed having you as neighbours in Brentwood. It's been too long, and if, in the coming months, you feel you'd like to get in touch, we'd love to hear from you. Our heartfelt sympathy to you and Scott and Angela. Love, Sheila and Pat
Ray & I were really sorry to hear of Bob's passing. It seem like just a week ago I saw him on the street with the dogs. I met Bob in 2005 when I retired and used to walk my dog at the time Orville. He use to tease me about bothering him as his dog Cheeno used to bark when we passed. We often had conversations about dogs and hockey. He was also known as a great neighbour cutting lawns, raking leaves and babysitting dogs as well as the block watch co-ordinator. These are big shoes to fill and we all need to try and live by his example in his honor. I will think of him up in heaven with Orville and Cheeno knowing he's taking care of everyone there. He will be misses but not forgotten. Kathie and Ray Loop Louie too.
Linda, it,s been a long time. Saw June yesterday at CIBC lunch and heard news. I guess it was a long time past you, Bob, and I would go for lunch down at that deli at Nelson and Granville. Can't even remember the name now, but I remember the lunches and our fun times.
