We shared our love,we said our goodbyes and dad left us on Christmas Day. Jim was 78 years old when he passed away at Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
Dad was born James John Rusch in 1937 in Wadena, Saskatchewan. He was the 5th of 6 children born to John and Irene (Bowman)Rusch. He met his love, Flora at Sylvan Lake and they were married on November 24, 1956.
Dad enjoyed a career in the Canadian Armed Forces for 21 years. After retiring in Ontario in June 1975, dad moved his family west and settled in Mission BC. He raised his family while working at his own RV repair business known as Jim’s RV Center in Abbotsford and later J&J RV Repairs in Mission.
It was easy for dad to make friends and through the years he gathered many a friend along the way. He was always up for a good laugh, a quick trip to Reno and a great meal.
