Jantina "Tina" Thalen

On Friday, December 22, 2017 God called our beloved mother and oma Tina Thalen home to be with Him in his glory.
She was born in Hoogeveen, The Netherlands and immigrated to Canada in 1952. Predeceased by daughter Tina Taekema in 2017, husband Marinus (Morris) in 2015, son-in-law Dan Haan in 2003, Mark Thalen in 2002 and grandson Ben Thalen in 1982. Survived by children; Henry, Kathy (Martin) Benjamins, Margaret (Henry) Schuurman, Gerda (Ray) Elgersma, Freda Haan, Dinah (Tony) Bestebroer, Morris (Sandra) Thalen, son-in-law Gerry Taekema, 42 grandchildren and 162 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service was held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Cornerstone Christian Reformed Church, 9800 McNaught Road, (at Yale Rd.) Chilliwack, B.C. Donations may be made to the Chadsey House c/o Chilliwack Society for Community Living. CSCL.org. Please specify Chadsey House.
