Beatrice "Bette" Durrant

Survived by her children John(Marian),Perry(Heidi),Jeff (Angela) and Geraldine (Cam); her grandchildren Jourdain, Carly (MIke), Stefani (Sean), Megan, Laura, Gillian (Mark), Travis and Jamieson and her great grandchildren Eric, Mila and Henry.
Born to John and Julia, she had a wonderful and fulfilling life. Married to “my Bob” for 66 years, together, always together, they left everyone and everything they touched better. Spiritually, Mom ran the Silver Lining Ministry and could turn any outcome to the positive. However if you asked her for advice you had to be ready for the answer as she had no filter and told you exactly how she felt. A sharp mind and great sense of humor to the end, she will be missed.
Memorial service will be held at Church of the Holy Trinity 15115 Roper Ave, White Rock at 1pm November 10th, 2018. Donations in lieu to Atira Women’s Resource Society (Durrant Transition House).

My wife and I wish to add our sincere condolences to the Durrant family on your bereavement. Bette and her husband Bob were great neighbours and friends when we all lived on 20A Avenue for nearly 30 years. We shared many a happy hour together.
