Sorry to hear about Clarence ( Buzz ) . He was always good for a laugh, when we lived @ Sagewood Park when talking to him about whatever the topic was......RIP old timer !!
Jeannie, we were so sorry to hear about Buzz. Our hearts go out to you and the whole family. There are for sure lots of great memories that we have with you two around Keremeos. You guys are missed . Ther are no more free hugs around here, but I bet there are lots being handed out in heaven. God bless to you and yours. Love from Richard and Margaret
I was sad to hear of Buzz passing away. I met Buzz and Jeanie thru Citzen on Patrol in Keremeos years ago. Buzz had a great sense of community and endless energy for volunteering. Our community was fortunate to have had Buzz. My sincere sympathy to Jeanie and all the families.
We had the pleasure of knowing Buzz & Jeannie when they lived in Keremeos. We even built Buzz a rock bench in our park Copper Ridge when he mentioned he needed a bench to sit & rest partway on his walk. He was one of a kind & will be missed! Hugs to Jeannie ❤️
My deepest sympathy to you Donna and Cheryl on the passing of your dad. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to you both and to your families. He was such a funny guy and always kept my dad and Doug Potkins in stitches with his funny antics but he fiercely loved you both so much. And he was always there if any neighbors needed help in the area. He was a super guy. Keep him in your heart. Dianne
I had the great pleasure of having Buzz in my life and my families for over 42 years. He shared his life with my mother, Jean and they truly loved for each other. He took Jean on many adventures over the years including a trip to Mexico, Alaska, they drove across Canada and camped wherever they could...farmer's field, on a ranch and on the beach. Jean took them to Scotland to share her heritage with Buzz and they even spent time in Portugal in a Villa to soak up the sunshine. All of my children enjoyed spending many hours at their favourite home in Shalath. So many memories to share.....I thank you Buzz, I have so much love in my heart for you.
When I moved to Keremeos in 2003, Buzz and Jeanie took me under their wing. I was a 23-year-old newspaper reporter moving to a small town alone. They became my "adopted" grandparents. I spent many nights at their house enjoying a home cooked meal, flipping through photo albums in the living room and listening to tales of their adventurous life. As life moved along and many changes happened, Buzz always made a point to call me and arrange for lunch. Sometimes in Penticton, he'd stop by my head office at Valley First just for a chin wag. Everyone knew the man who called me his grand daughter. It always made me smile. His amazing sense of positivity, his ability to turn everything into a joke, his kindness and his sense of openness always astounded me. I will forever have a place in my heart for this special man. I miss you Buzz. Love your "adopted" grand daughter.
