Jean Hope

Passed away April 24, 2018 at the age of 97.
She was born in Kitscoty, Alberta in 1921. After completing registered nurses’ training at Edmonton General Hospital in 1945, Jean met and married Bob in 1949. They had 4 children, Gary, Patricia, Darlene and Frederick. Jean was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was a caring and compassionate registered nurse.
Survived by 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Harry, sister-in-law Helen Hope, sister-in-law Trudy Hope and their families. She was predeceased by loving husband Bob, parents Alice and Silas, Sister Virginia, twin sister Alice, parents-in-law Fred and Blanche Hope and very recently, her loving niece, Beverley.
The family wishes to send heartfelt thanks to Dr. Milena Campbell, and the staff at Menno Hospital in Abbotsford, for their wonderful care and compassion, where Jean spent the last 9 years of her life.
Funeral Service Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. will be held at Alternatives Funeral and Cremation Services, 3070-275A Street, Aldergrove, B.C.
