Christa Schoeber
March 27th, 2018
Christa Schoeber, born 1932 in Germany; died 2018 in White Rock, BC. Married to Paul for nearly 64 years. Survived by 3 sons: Axel, Rodger, Cliff; their wives, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Christa loved much and was much loved and is much missed. Yet she was ready to leave us. She said she was “worn out” and she was ready to be with the Lord. She loved Jesus and served him deeply and well. Many thanks to the staff at Al Hogg Pavilion for their warm care for “Nana.”
Christa was an adventurer. Leaving her homeland at age 22 to be married the day after she arrived in Canada, she made a life of beauty. She loved cooking, weaving, decorating, music, singing and invested in her family generously. With only a grade 10 education, she entered into a “retirement project” with Paul of studying for a Certificate in Ministry as mature students, which led them into an extensive ministry across North America of prayer and mentoring for hundreds of Christian leaders with Arrow Leadership, from their retreat in Whistler (House on the Rock) and by other means. The tributes for her have been many, with much gratitude.
You are invited to leave a personal message of condolence for the family.
