Darrell Mercier

Darrell passed away on Thursday, November 28 after a brave battle with Cancer.
Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Doreen Mercier.
Survived by his wife, Jeannie and his children, Candace(David), Matthew (Chaye) and Kristen (Tristian). His 2 siblings sister Sherrill (John) and brother Wayne (Angie), and his step children , Jason (Jennifer), Terrisa (Carlos), and Weston (Jessica)
Also survived by his 10 grandchildren (Brad, Keira, Quinn, Izzabella, Alexandre, Kandice, Xander, Tobias, David and Kaitlyn), his 6 step grandchildren Kayla (Bryce), Bryce (Angel), Blayne, Duncan, Lincoln, and Carter , and one Great grandchild Jake.
Also survived by his 3 nieces (Meghan, Sophie and Claire)
A Celebration of Life will be held at the North Surrey Minor Football Clubhouse at Bear Creek Park 13750 88Ave, Surrey BC, on Friday December 6, 2019 at 1:30pm.
In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to Greyhaven Exotic Bird Santuary

Darrell was such a kind and generous soul. My condolences to the entire family. It’s weird when I’m going through my Facebook memories and I see his comments. He was my fruit man from the Okanogan, he was the one that inspired me to try new recipes with all the beautiful recipes he shared on Facebook. And he makes the best blackberry jam there is. I’m going to be sad when I run out of it, because it’s definitely better than mine
