With sadness we announce the passing of our dad, Peter Meister on January 23. 2021. He is now in the presence of his Lord and saviour.
Peter leaves his three children Carol, Ron (Audrey) and Sylvie (James). Three grandchildren Brandon (Brooke), Stephanie (Shaun) and Isaac and three great grandchildren Madelyn, Reuben, and Ezra.
Peter was a survivor of the second world war, he arrived in Canada in 1952. He met the love his life Ingrid in Prince Rupert and married her in 1956.
Peter was a faithful man, faithful to his family and especially his God. He was actively involved in ministry to people around him right to the end of his days.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7.

It was with sadness that we heard of Peter’s passing- I remember him going out to breakfast with us to tell us of planning to join Southgate. He was excited about the word of God- I loved that. He also had a quick encouragement for many around him. Our love and condolences to his family!
I am so sorry to learn the passing of Peter. I have some beautiful memories especially our Christmas Eve family gatherings. God Bless and love to his family.❤
