Chadwick Ross
March 18th, 2021
It is with profound sorrow that Stan and Rosalind Ross announce the unexpected and untimely death of their beloved son, Chadwick W. Ross on March 18, 2021 at the age of 45.
Chadwick lived and was employed at Joshua House Addiction and Rehabilitation, Chilliwack, BC and where his life changed when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. Because of that change, he developed a passion to help and encourage other men in addiction recovery so that they too could experience the foregivness, peace, joy and love that he experienced through the power of God’s Holy Spirit. He was a mentor, teacher, confidant and trusted friend to those he worked with and served alongside.
Chadwick was patient, compassionate, kind, generous and had a gentle spirit, even while dealing with extremely stressful situations. Those who spent time with him during their own struggle, came away feeling loved and better than they had prior to their interaction with him; he also had a sharp wit and wonderful sense of humour that could diffuse even the most serious situations. He had truly found his calling and did amazing work with many people.
Left to mourn: daughter Roxanne (mother Dana), Abbotsford, BC; parents Stanley and Rosalind Ross, Kaleden, BC; sister Natasha Ross, Las Vegas, NV; half-sister Karen McCavour (Kenny), Saint John, NB; stepdaughter Sasha (mother Marti), Montreal, QC; fiancée Kailey, Abbotsford, BC; two nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many close friends and coworkers.
A private viewing and final goodbyes took place on March 31, 2021 at 2pm at Alternatives Funeral Home in Aldergrove, BC
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer, likely the end of July, 2021, at Joshua House, 60550 Chilliwack Lake Rd., Chilliwack, BC, beside the creek where baptisms are performed and where Chadwick was baptized on Easter Sunday, 2020.
Special thanks to Richard and Angie Korkowski whose vision became Joshua House. Their commitment, dedication and unselfish love has helped many men, including Chadwick, realize a changed, victorious life.
Thank you to Alternatives Funeral Home, especially Andre, for their helpfulness and compassion to accommodate the family’s needs and wishes during this most difficult time.
Memorial donations may be made in Chadwick’s memory to: Joshua House, 272 Station A, Abbotsford, BC V2J 6Z6 or online: https://www.yahwehsavesrecovery.ca/

I’m so sorry to hear this sad news sending my most heartfelt condolences to all the family
Chad; Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. You will be sadly missed. We had many memories over the years together and I was so proud when I heard you had overcome your struggles. Till we meet again "Rosco".
Do not stand By my grave, and weep. I am not there, I do not sleep— I am the thousand winds that blow I am the diamond glints in snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle, autumn rain. As you awake with morning’s hush, I am the swift, up-flinging rush Of quiet birds in circling flight, I am the day transcending night. Do not stand By my grave, and cry— I am not there, I did not die. Love you Danny "Auntie"
Rosalind & Family, so sorry for your loss. Hold on to your memories they will help you in the difficult days. Sending my Deepest Sympathy and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to all.
Chad`s obituary was very sincere & described him as only a Mother & Father could do. We spent some time with Chad when we lived in British Columbia, & he was so nice & seemed to be a friend to all. Definitely a young man who had such potential & a wonderful future. He overcame struggles most of us will never know, & came through successfully. He is very missed. God needed someone like Chad to be an Angel. God Bless you Rosalind(Loving & Proud Mother), Stanley (strong Loving Father), & Natasha (Loving Sister & friend). May your future be full of memories & trust that he is waiting for you there. He Loved you all so much, as you Loved him. Sent with much love, Cousin Gail & Jim
