Brent Bert Shipowich
April 18th, 1963 ~ September 10th, 2021
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Brent Shipowich on Friday September 10, 2021, after strongly fighting his battle of lung cancer for 2 years. He went peacefully in his sleep at home with Molly at his side. Brent leaves behind wife Molly, daughters Katrina, Kaitlyn, and Nicole, loving sister Terry (Richard) Bogue, brother Wayne (Carole), many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Brent was born and raised in Radisson, Saskatchewan. He moved to Vancouver in 1985 working at Crane Wordcraft. He then made a name for himself, where he was respected and feared in the construction industry and spent his career.
Brent loved to golf, fish, waterski and snow ski, camp and maintain his lawn effortlessly. He loved spending time with his family, especially his girls, teaching them how to maintain their car, playing cards and board games.
The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 2:00pm at South Delta Baptist Church, 1988 56th Street, Delta, BC. If you are unable to attend, livestreaming is available: https://vimeo.com/605305972.

Sorry to hear of Brent's passing. Brent and I were very good friends when he lived in Radisson. I was in the trucking industry Brent loved coming along on trucking runs. He would always stop over for a visit when he was home for Xmas. He will be missed R.I.P MY FRIEND.

Tom and I will miss his laughter, hanging in the shop, doing some meat cutting, and just having a good conversations. He truly was a good man with a big heart and will always be remembered as a gentleman. He loved kids, pets and most definitely his family. Oh Molly...brings me sadness to hear about Brent's passing. My heart goes to you and the girls. Long road ahead for all of you but I hope you all, eventually, find the strength to cope. Keep strong and remember the good times.
