My prayers and condolences to Donna and family in this huge loss of Dave and all he was to you to you! Praying for you as you journey in this life that you will be comforted by Holy Spirit, family and friends! I have so many great memories of Dave from the years in Wetaskiwin, he brought so much joy and laughter! Till we meet again!
My condolences are to Donna, Ernie (Dolly) and the entire Schaber family. I'm a fan of Sweet Presence' music who met Dave in March of 2004 when he was needed to fill in and came to my church and sang with Ernie, Dolly and Corey. Even though March 28th, 2004 that was the only time I met Dave, I still enjoy the CD's I have that he did with the group which are It's Not Over Til It's Over and I'm Living The Good Life. Even though Dave's wonderful singing voice will be missed, I rejoice that he's now in the presence of the One who he sang about while on the road and that we'll see him again but in a place where there's no sorrow, sickness sin or pain (John 11:25).
So sorry to hear the news. Dave was a joy to be around.
First met David when I transferred to Wetaskiwin and lived with the family. Some of the best memories I have is there and the fun we had.
Dear Donna and family...my sincere condolences on the death of Dave. I loved his singing and unlimited number of jokes and how he loved to play tricks on people. He is singing in the angel choir and telling jokes to all his friends...love to all
My condolences to the family . He was a great man and funny yet serious . May the peace of God rest on your family . He’s home now all is well with him . Love and hugs to family .
Donna & Family, I am so sorry to learn of Dave's passing. May you and yours experience the strong comforting presence of the Spirit of Jesus at this time. We're praying for you. Ernie (&Violet) Nesdoly
I will always remember his surprised expression when he came from work to find Travis and I had made a fort in the living room to watch “The man from snowy River”. He started off being upset at the mess and then relaxed and smiled. I enjoyed his singing a lot. They are a talented family. I know he will be missed because I know how much he was loved.
To the Schaber family our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate the life and legacy of Bro. David. May your memories sustain you until we all meet on that beautiful shore.
Very sorry that we were unable to attend the wonderful memorial in Langley BC. Dave was great to know, with such a good sense of humour. He obviously was a great husband, dad and grandpa. We will all miss him dearly.
