It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Husband, Dad, and Papa.
On July 26,1934, Raymond Joseph Cottreau was born to Belone and Hilda Cottreau in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia. Raymond had the opportunity to live Coast to Coast and places in between. British Columbia was his home, but he never forgot that Nova Scotia was where he was born and always enjoyed his return visits.
Raymond was always a hard worker and had the ability to adapt to different career choices throughout his lifetime. From fisherman in NS to Miner in Ontario then to his last choice which he enjoyed the most with Correctional Service Canada. Once he retired, he enjoyed RVing and camping with his partner in life, his wife Josephine.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Josephine. His children Brian, Debbie (Clay), Tom (Kerry), Catherine, Beverley (Gary) and son-in-law Tony. Grandchildren: Andrew, William, Natasha, Jennifer, Erick, Kimberley, Malcolm, Spencer, and Ryan. Great-grandchildren: Jacob, Eli, Benjamin, Kara, Wyatt, Charleen, and Selena. Brother Louis Cottreau, Wedgeport, NS.
Aside from his parents, Raymond was predeceased by a son, Brad (in infancy), daughter Judy, son-in-law Murray and a great grandson (in infancy) as well as siblings, Ernest, Albert, Freddie, Leonard, and Rosella.

We are so sorry that Ray has left his mortal coil. We will always remember his jovial nature and the times around the campfires. I enjoyed working with hi and have nothing but good memories hugs to the family.
