Andrew Deyto Lim

Andrew “Andy” Deyto Lim, passed away on August 21st, 2023, at the age of 58, in his Vancouver home.

Andy was a loving husband to his wife, Evangeline Lim, and father to his two daughters, Phoebe Joy Comia-Lim, and Karla Danielle Lim.

Andy was born in Davao City, Philippines on March 12th, 1965. Son of Jaunita and Lim Ching Ling and brother to Leon, Claudio, Philip, Sonia, and Peter. He graduated from the University of Mindanao for architecture. He met his wife Evangeline at Davao Evangelical Church and tied the knot in 1993. They immigrated to Vancouver Canada in 1993 to start a family. In 1995 Andy and Evangeline had their first-born child, Phoebe. In 1998 they welcomed their second born, Karla. Andy was loved by many friends and family. He adored sharing his love for food and would often invite his family out to dimsum. Andy had many skills and hobbies including playing ukulele, watching movies, tinkering with electronics, building Evangeline planter boxes, and buying and selling watches. Andy was a devout Christian and instilled in his daughters to trust in God as He always has a plan.
