It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Steve M. Smith on August 27th, 2023, at the age of 67.
Steve is survived by his mother (Bev), sister (Lonnie & Ed), niece (Marie & Grayson), sister-in-law (Charlotte), aunt (Bonnie), stepbrother (Larry) and many cousins.
Steve is predeceased by his wife (Julie Ann), father (Joe), stepfather (Verne) and stepbrother (Michael).
Steve was born in Vancouver, worked for many years in construction, truck driving, scuba diving and as a volunteer rescue fire fighter. Throughout his
entire life he loved nature, the outdoors, fishing, and his many animals. Everyone who met Steve thought he was a 'really nice guy' who would lend a hand.
to anyone who needed help. A true good Samaritan. Steve will be forever missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
